Delighted to say that we had our first inspection for the brand new Animal Activities Licence a couple of weeks ago. We achieved full marks which will now cover us for 3 years. The licence covers all aspects of animal husbandry, needed today – ensuring that all animals are kept to very high standards
It is now a legal requirement that everyone who takes animals to exhibitions are inspected and licensed. If you are an event organiser looking to book an animal ‘act’, please do make sure that the company has a licence in place, otherwise you could apparently face a fine.
Fortunately we were in contact with our local authority from an early stage and we believe that we are the first falconry company to achieve the licence in England and Wales.
