The Easter Weekend at Thame produced some amazing performances all around the showground, as well as also in the Living Heritage Falconry Village. We had guest falconers, First Class Falconry, in addition to the resident falconers, who put on a fantastic static display, as well as a superb flying display along with ourselves in the Andy Singleton Arena.
At this show there were over 60 birds of prey, which had travelled with their falconers from all over the United Kingdom, including 20 of our own at Hawkeye Falconry UK. This was the largest collection of birds of prey so far this show season and it produced non-stop entertainment all day in the Falconry Village Arena’s, as well as also displaying in the Andy Singleton Arena and the Countryside Arena! Lots of people had a go at flying the birds throughout both days, including the owls in The Great Living Heritage Owl Show. This show was so well attended that people were standing outside the tent, to view the owls from all over the world!
The display falconers attending the Living Heritage Falconry Village, alongside ourselves were: AC Falconry, The Falconry Centre, First Class Falconry and Chrissie’s Owls.
Please note that the images that you see below contain not only our own birds of prey, at Hawkeye Falconry UK, but also many of the other display teams in action at the event.
